چکیده

Fifth generation (5G) wireless technology is a new communication system that must meet different complementary needs: the high data rate for mobile services, low energy consumption and long-range connected objects, latency to ensure real-time critical applications and, spectral efficiency improve overall capacity. The waveforms associated signal processing present real challenge in implementation of each networks. Different research works have discussed this topic; but, these are limited Filter-Bank Multi-Carrier (FBMC), Universal Filtered (UFMC), Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (F-OFDM) waveforms. In work, we review technical basics physical layer LTE which uses, OFDM modulation downlink single carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) technique uplink. Besides, paper presents diverse candidate 5G systems, including, FBMC, UFMC, F-OFDM, compares techniques with Constant Envelope-OFDM (CE-OFDM), an advantageous form regarding power consumption, especially battery-powered devices. Simulations carried out compare performance OFDM, CE-OFDM, FBMC terms density (PSD) Bit Error Rate (BER). It has been demonstrated (CE-OFDM) constitutes more efficient solution than other technics. By comparison technics, CE-OFDM scheme performances, BER PSD, controllable by values its parameters (M, h, J). This advantage gives designers consider mutual choice between BER. Moreover, (F-OFDM), (FBMC) schemes could constitute density. can be concluded from wave best reducing Peak Average Power Ratio (PAPR) reduce inter-carrier interference (ICI).

On the Performance Comparison of Non-ideal Single-Carrier and Multi-Carrier Waveforms over Wide-band HF Channels

The purpose of this paper is to quantify the effects of Carrier Frequency Offset (CFO), Symbol Timing Offset (STO) and Phase Noise in coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) and coded Single Carrier Frequency Domain Equalization (SC-FDE) systems and to compare their relative sensitivities in wide-band HF channel model. In mobile communication systems where multi-path propagation...

Performance Analysis of Diversity-Controlled Multi-User Superposition Transmission for 5G Wireless Networks

In this paper, we propose a novel low-complexity multi-user superposition transmission (MUST) technique for 5G downlink networks, which allows multiple cell-edge users to be multiplexed with a single cell-center user. We call the proposed technique diversity-controlled MUST technique since the cell-center user enjoys the frequency diversity effect via signal repetition over multiple orthogonal ...

Analysis of Candidate Waveforms for 5G Cellular Systems

Choice of a suitable waveform is a key factor in the design of 5G physical layer. New waveform/s must be capable of supporting a greater density of users, higher data throughput and should provide more efficient utilization of available spectrum to support 5G vision of “everything everywhere and always connected” with “perception of infinite capacity”. Although orthogonal frequency division mul...

investigation of single-user and multi-user detection methods in mc-cdma systems and comparison of their performances
